About the artist

Born in New York City in 1959 to parents who were avid art collectors, Bradford Brenner has worked as a professional artist for more than three decades.

He studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and San Diego State University, while remaining largely self-taught as an artist. His creative education continues through an intuitive practice rooted in emotion, color, and form.

Collectors are drawn to the freedom, movement, and energy that define his work.

Brenner's expressive brushwork and richly layered compositions reflect a spontaneous, instinctive approach to painting.

Drawing inspiration from the Old Masters, the Impressionists, the Tonalists, and the Abstract Expressionists, he has developed a distinctive visual language that is uniquely his own.
