J. Howell Fine Art represents a thoughtfully curated collection of original paintings, works on paper, and sculpture by contemporary California artists — from vivid impressionist and plein-air landscapes to multihued figurative pieces, vibrant abstracts and ceramics.

“The key component of good art is to make the viewer feel an emotion, or experience something spiritual.”
— Henk Bremmer, 20th-century art historian and critic
